Keep Your Excess

If you’ve had an accident that wasn’t your fault. You DON’T HAVE to claim off YOUR OWN policy. We’ll claim from the other person’s policy.

How does it work?

By claiming directly from the insurer of the person that caused the accident, you’ll not have to pay your excess or lose your hard earned “no-claims-bonus”.

In fact, it shouldn’t cost you a penny: all the costs are recovered from the other insurer, including our costs.

Fully comprehensive or third party insured, injured or not, we can help you claim.

What is my Excess?

Your excess is the amount you’ll have to pay your insurer towards the cost of the claim. This is often made up of a compulsory and an excess, combined these can add up to £500 or so! You may not have to pay this if the accident was someone else’s fault.

Some insures will double your excess if you have agreed to ONLY use their garage for any repairs. This “agreement” is sometimes found in the terms and conditions if you buy your insurance on-line. So be careful to read them as you may get a nasty surprise!
